In the particular story that I was talking about he got some type of boost from the microwave energy that Firestar blasted him with. I don't know if that's what he was referring to in the instance that you're talking about or not though.

Boom Boom needs to revert back to her short hair cut or a better artist can bring her sexiness out better, but overall this series is very comedic and more of it should be publish.
