good enough for me to come back?

I'd say so, Fraction was awful. But I think things had to get bad in order for things to get good. Not sure what direction things are going to be moving in but the field seems to be getting a lot more balanced. Fear Itself - Uncanny X-Men is probably my favourite arc of UXM in the entire decade. Even Greg Lands art isn't as bad with Gillen writing.

It was a progression. We forget how bad Austen, Brubaker and Claremont were.

Where should I start, then?

Hmm...try Uncanny X-Men 534.1 and see if you like that first. Not sure if you'll like his Breakerworld arc that follows though. You might...start with the Fear Itself issues. Or you can wait until Uncanny X-Men reboots to #1.

I'll try 534.1, then see after that.

Jason Aaron is a really good writer as well. His latest Wolverine arc was also quite good.

I've been waiting for someone to teach Wolverine a lesson.

Blue team looks a lot better IMO. And Gillen is a great writer.

who taught him a lesson?

Just read 534.1; have to say, I liked it. Solid writing, even witty at times. Decent art too. A lot better than I was expecting.

Also, why does Kitty have a f*cking fishbowl on her head?

The Red Right Hand. Probably one of the best ways to get revenge on a man like Wolverine. Wolverine 10-14. Best part is, you actually sympathise with the Red Right Hand.

Fraction brought her back during his run however, she was stuck in phase mode. So the only way she could move around is while in a suit. It was one of Fractions ideas. She was stuck in a machine the entire time during Second Coming.

Ah ok. Did her and Pete get back together? Or did Fraction **** that up too?

They did. But Gillens Fear Itself kind of tinkers with their relationship. Colossus makes a sacrifice. Well, Illyana is a bit of **** these days IMO, I think she tricked Colossus into making that sacrifice.

Oh that.

Btw, if i'm going to be reading adjectiveless, what # number should I start on with that too? Assuming that's not shit, I mean.

I'm not a big fan of Adjectiveless tbh. I wouldn't say it's a must read.

Uncanny X-Force is decent too.

New Mutants, Legacy, Adjectiveless. I don't think you'll like them. Adjectiveless isn't bad but that has been a problem with the X-line for a while it's filled with mediocrity. Astonishing X-Men is bad though.

yeah, x-force is one i've been interested in.

every since they brought in that horrible artist for astonishing i've had no interest at all; and what i did read, the writing was horrible.
