It was. It was one of the most fleshed out, believable relationships i've ever seen.

Thor has crushed uru in his hands too, in fact he powdered it IIRC. I think it would be revealed that Hulk ripped a secondary adamantium net otherwise the next time he fights wolverine, it would be hard to explain why he didn't simply kill him if he can rip apart it with the same ease as shown here. Even the secret wars feat of hulk denting ultron has been retconned as secondary adamantium. Bruce has said that primary adamantium is beyond their level to break. Or it can be said that marvel is nerfing adamantium with serpent shattering cap's shield and all that stuff.
