One rumor from a decent source says that its a different Nova, with Rich serving as the new Worldmind avatar, which would mean that Rider is dead.
Either way according to Tom Brevoort;
"Nova is going to be a very key character over the course of the next 12-18 months. You're going to see a lot of him. At the very least, it's the tip of the most important Nova story that we've likely ever done."
Considering Rider -presuming its even him- was at the heart of Annihilation, that better be one huge phucking story.
