What do you mean DnA? They're not writing Thor: The Deviants Saga are they? I thought Rob Rodi was writing the book.

Ugh, again?Thor should not be having this much trouble with Tutinax. I understand that he might have been taken off guard the first round with the fear powers and all but it shouldn't happen the second time. Thor's physically superior and more powerful than any Eternal/Deviant other than maybe Zuras.

I know they never fought directly but in comparison, it's clear that there was a very large gap in power. From what I remember of that annual that is.

Well look at the bright side. Thor managed to make him wince in pain in that second scan. Maybe he's getting warmer 😱

I was just about to ask the same thing. As far as I know they are only doing New Mutants. Earth fall #4 was their last hoorah in terms of anything cosmic for Marvel. They're off cosmic completely now.

The whole mini is a love letter to the Eternals mythology.
Tutinax must've spent some serious time in the gym 😄

😂Even the trinity characters (Thor, Supes, Surfer) have to humble themselves to the comic plot gods every now and then. Rage knows this.
Yeah, but we all know how this is going to end: In the preview of the last issue of this mini Thor will be trading punches with Tutinax and finally he will spout:
"I cannot beat Tutinax through strength, I must use my guile!"
It will be ten years before they face off again after that 😄

Oh shit, you're right. For some reason I thought it was them, no wonder Thor's voice felt so different in comparison to the Iron Man/Thor mini they did.
No offense to Rodi, his first Loki mini was great, but isn't there anyone else who can write a Thor mini-series? His had like 3 of them I think in the last year and a half. Pretty ridiculous in my opinion, I'd rather have some old school DeFalco tales.
Some diversity is always good. I'd have enjoyed a Balder mini by Gillen or something. And Fraction needs to go.
At least this is readable. Astonishing Thor started out cool but The Tales of Asgard or whatever shit was just horrid.

Heh, you'd think I'd get vexed but Thor will takes his lunch money sooner or later.

Nah, unless his strength doubled and his durability like tripled, he shouldn't stand up to Thor.

That was an adamantium alloy, as stated on-panel by that evil scientist in the comic, not pure adamantium.
Actually, pure adamantium is an alloy. In various panels the evil scientist referred to it as just adamantium and adamantium alloy, both of which are correct. Just as you can say something is made of bronze or brass, or made of bronze alloy or brass alloy.
At the time it was written, it did seem to be true adamantium.
Originally posted by Lord FeronIt was the 70s. Yeah, I'm pretty sure this was one of the instances that got lumped into the whole "secondary adamantium" retcon that came later. Though it wouldn't have been mentioned specifically. At the time, it was just supposed to be impressive feats by Hulk and Blastaar.
Wow impressive except for the 1st one. Crazy ass writers, I wonder if this was retconned considering this is what like from the 80s?edit- nevermind ODG knows whats up thanks! Should of read more carefully, knew ****ing blastarr or even hulk can do that to real adamantium.
