edited it, because Photobucket can be a dick. No, but it's still a UN. And anyone who can beat Doom is high level.
Cool.
I guess, not enough for me to consider them on par with the real deal though. Still, at least it puts to rest any doubts about them being powerful entities.

Darkseid is a credible threat again. I am pleased
But for how long...? Personally I think its a mistake to bring out the biggest (one of) threat so soon. His appearances should be far and few in between, and when he does appear it should be in as epic a situation as possible. But that's me speaking as a newcomer to the whole thing.

Them being powerful was purely in response to zopzop's "Biggest retcon ever" he spouts around

How do we know how powerful that UN was compared to the 616 version? Recall during the Abraxas Saga, the FF went out of their way to collect the parts to assemble the 616 version of the UN.
During the Council of Reeds nonsense that these Rogue Celestials come from, it took MULTIPLE alt reality UNs wielded by MULTIPLE Alt reality Reeds to put down ONE alt reality Galactus.
But I still feel the mother of all power retcons coming.

As Celestials, they are by default incredibly powerful but they are no-named ones from an alternate Universe so I think Galactus will have an alright showing. At the very least if they attack him as a group, ninja law will be on his side.
At the end of the day though, it depends on what Hickman -or any writer- wants tbh. When he works towards an outcome, shit just happens; if the issue with the battle isn't like the last one with these Celestials, then I'd probably worry if I was a Galactus fan (Odin Destroyer defeat).
Not sure what the retcon bit is about.

I don't see a problem. Galactus is beast mode.
So basically, Galactus can't even fight one Celestial evenly, or else it's the mother of all power retcons because Fraction's work is better than Hickman's?
Oh well, Doom's going to come back and solo everything everywhere.

Man, Fraction's really serious about the metaphysical aspect of Gods. Real death only occurs when they're forgotten, Thor remembering himself and regaining his power etc.
Mjolnir is still as awesome as ever. Hope Thor at least hurts Demogorge, Fraction called him an Eternity level concept (His ignoring all of Pak's work), so that'll give me a chubby.
