Lol.

by the looks of it i think thor hit hope into the planet (and the phoenix cloak slowly dissipated), and then she enveloped the planet to his horror.

Phoenix isn't Hope yet, but I agree with you. Looks like Thor dissipated most of the Phoenix entity but hit a portion to the planet, which upon recover the Phoenix destroyed the planet.

I have a feeling the Phoenix is going to go for Scarlet Witch instead of Hope.

Why Scarlet Witch?

I believe it will be revealed that during House of M/Avengers Dissaembled was her tapping into the Pheonix Force. Also at the start of AvsX-Men she was with her bro and drawing in her diary that the Pheonix was coming.

Also it would be the big "twist" of the series as everyone was expecting Hope. Either way Scarlet Witch will play a big role in this series

But Hope was already tapping into the Phoenix force before it even came to the planet. She took out the Xmen with its power and the last time they showed her, she was still tapping into its power. Then it seems like they are linked to each other in some ways. You could be right though.

Yes tapping into it, but so has Scarlet Witch hence House of M/Avengers Dissassembled/Avengers: The Children's Crusade. There is others who are tapping into the Pheonix Force as well, Rachel Summers and Korvus Rook'shir

I'm hoping you are wrong.

I might be, but nor do I care if it goes one way or another. I think the crossover thus far has been terribe.

Makes sense. When Doom stole Wanda's power, he referred to it as "The Life Force". Sounds an awful lot like Phoenix-derived energy to me.

The battles has been terrible but the overall story is good imo. The writers could put more thought into the stories though.

Hope taps into other people's powers. Somebody else is tapping into Phoenix, and she is the one tapping them (furiously).

Then, she'll probably tap into everybody's Phoenix tapping, because she has to do something with the whole "mutant's race's hope" shtick, and spill it all over the mutant race's face.

Hope is a whore, is what I'm getting at.

😂

What all AvX one-on-one battles have occurred thus far?

Cap vs Wolverine
Magneto vs Ironman
Colossonaut vs Red Hulk
Namor vs Thing

That's all I can think of right now besides hope taking out Wolverine, Spiderman and some students. Ironman also dropped Emma. Cyclops lost to Cap and the others were group battles.

Man, the X-men have been jobbing out so bad in this event I'm worried that Thor will lose to f*cking Storm or something just to balance the scales.

Out of curiousity, have they explained Rogue's severe drop of power in X-men Legacy? At this point I don't think she should beat a Wonder Man level power house much less an Avengers line up, that type of game changing formidability was only portrayed under Claremont as far as I know.

On a side note, did Thor just f*ck up and cause the destruction of a planet? Although the surprise Thor shows at the end indicates that it didn't just eat the planet and something else was going on.

When did that Thor/Phoenix encounter take place? After he recovered from his wounds (when he was all bandaged up)? Cause if so, it LOOKS like he did better in Round Two vs the Phoenix like I knew he would.

Franklin Richards is the Phoenix. Or at least I would roflmao if he was and Reed and Valeria never realized it.

So in Secret Avengers 26 we see Thor being the first to be taken out by the Phoenix, now in AvX 4 we see Thor being the last one standing against Phoenix. Something seems a little strange here...
