nice point that could be a possibility, however i am just judging by my standards dont know how other minds work but even if your father is the UFC champion or what ever if you see him being attacked your instincts kick in the instincts of defending your family and you just jump right into there, i guess it can be kid gladiator thought his dad will just take care of it however its very dumb because you see 5 guys against your dad you should jump right in, standing there and thinking dont worry dad is going to take care of this is just stupid and shows he is so arrogant that he lets this arrogance control even his clear mind and instincts, in real life if there was such an idiot he would have been killed very soon.

As a grown man hellz yeah. As an older teenager, most likely. As a little kid? Not bloody likely. I think that's probably what you should try to keep in mind.

Also if you are honestly convinced that your dad would steam rol them, why would you be worried? I'm positive he's seen his Dad take on more then 5 people before without sweating. It's not cowardly if it's all your used to seeing, if you've never seen your Dad lose and struggle and you're being told to stand back why would you be worried until after he starts losing?

Just like in Kung fu flicks when Bruce or somebody takes on a bunch of dudes, no one has any doubt he'll win if he tells them to stand back. Doesn't make them punks to believe it.
