Personally, I find it amusing people that people are using AvX's showings of Thor to claim he's been depowered or reduced to mere High Meta status while ignoring the last two years of feats under Thor's belt, because apparently, this event completely contradicts dozens of comics made, to say nothing of decades worth of showings.
This would be like using Robinson's World Without Superman/War of the Supermen event to justify Superman being gimped currently because he wasn't shown at his best during that period of time.

I know you didn't ask me, but I'd like to comment on it. That scene reminds me of when during the alien invasion during the Avengers movie, when the Hulk punched Thor for basically no reason, basically to humiliate Thor. It's like if there was a JLA movie and one of Superman's team mates just punched him for no reason and sent him flying. I don't see it happening in the comic....or in a potential movie.

Much like many of the recent Thor showings that was PIS (and is before upgrades pre reboot Superman received), but anyway, Captain Marvel is stronger than the Hulk anyway, and has the speed to be able to surprise Superman (and it's laughable to think Hulk does) so....
