This was such a random plot-line for Hickman to use... Still don't understand why he opted to expand on Doomwar..?

By Doomwar , do you mean the Parliament of Doom storyline ? I believe that that plot will either remain in a cliffhanger , or Fraction will ruin it .

Also , in the Fan Page(among the myriad letters that Hickman received about #604) , there didn't seem to be any mention of adult Franklin's supposed death(which many people on this board and many other boards have presumed) .

In fact the closest we get to this issue , is in a letter by a guy called Kristopher Koller , and he just mentions Franklin "returning triumphantly , held in his Herald Galactus' palm " .

Just pointing out .

the preview of DCnU justice league #12 shows superman brutally beat up with blood leaking from his chest. The solicit says the justice league will have to struggle to face there newest enemy.

It seems like black adam is going to phuck them up bad... Really Bad

No, I'm talking about a story from a few years back called Doomwar.

For some reason, Hickman opted to expand on the events of that story in the last few issues of F4/FF--hence the "previously in" page of F4 #607:

Strikes me as a bit random...

Galan. Do you have the scans of justice league #0 the one with captain marvel?

Oh that . The one in which Doom tried to steal all of Wakanda's vibranium and Shuri ended up taking the mantle of the Black Panther ?

Yeah , I agree it was a bit random , but how else do you think he could have written an FF story involving Black Panther ?

I saw no reason for a BP story at all--let alone in the midst of the purely cosmic-type-stuff he's been [brilliantly] writing as of late. /shrug

😂

The villain they're talking about is Graves, Big-C.

Not Black Adam.

Maybe Hickman wanted to take a brief break from the cosmic stuff , and do a story about a street-level character ?

Seriously though , nobody is perfect , not even Hickman . Fantastic Four # 572 should be a testimony to this .

I'm sure of that... But again, it just seems random to all of the sudden expand on a 2 year old story. Not a big deal, just weird.

I didn't have a problem with that issue. Reed slags a Celestial with an entropy gun. So what?

You really love Hickman a lot , don't you ?

Hickman is a great writer, but aside from that, I don't see what the big deal with F4 #572 is? Did it make much sense that Reed had a weapon like that laying around? No, but so what? The rest of the issue was solid.

😆

You mean the effects of ENTROPY were > the UN in that instance..

I once saw Drax use a palm-sized entropy bomb that just happened to be laying around, to atomize Thanos. Did that make me think less of Thanos? No. Destroying shit is what entropy does. It is a literal dues ex machina. Not really a big deal. srsly
