How dare you ignore this, Jake.

How dare you!

🙁

Fun fact: Doom's one of the few people to catch Cap's thrown shield with virtually perfect accuracy.

Tiger Shark getting one shotted by DD is almost as bad Thor lately.

Kang has pulled that off too. Just saying.

^ The last issue of the series (#12) was released today.

Yep, Defenders was cool, it's the one thing giving me hope that Fraction will do a decent FF run.

If it's the same instance I'm thinking of, Kang caught the shield, which is decent in of itself.

Doom caught the shield and in a fluid and unbroken motion hurled it back at Captain America.

Ah, I didn't understand it like that the first time around, that's a pretty awesome feat indeed. Can't remember someone else doing that from the top of my head.

Kang did stop the shield with one hand while carrying a giant gun on the other, but then again, he always carries giant guns 😛

I know people have caught the shield or otherwise intercepted it in mid air and I'm pretty sure some have thrown it back at Steve, but off the top of my head, Doom's the only guy I can think of that managed to do so in a single movement.

Kang did have a good fight with Steve during the Kang War, though.

So it continues, Thor gets one-shotted by an microverse gun (Avengers #33)

The context was that superman got shrunk down to subatomic level where time runs faster and thus he was depleting his solar reserves. Thor has no such problem and microverse doesn't alter powers.

Don't have the other issue, but I thought all the Avengers were affected? Wasn't Cap feeling sick in the first part, Wasp and Pym couldn't use their pym particles, Iron Man's armor wasn't working properly etc. I figured Thor was weakened somehow too. Granted though, it wasn't much different from his other showings recently so who knows.

Doom!
