Brevoort is saying that Franklin cannot lift Thor's hammer. Surely you won't take that lying down?

I don't think Franklin could lift Thor's hammer. He could make his own universe where he had his own 'similar' hammer, but not in this one.

Answer: I don't think Franklin would mess with his own reality like that -- it's one of his rules he's learned.

I think he just doesn't want to make waves on Brevoort's watch.
