It's bizarre how horrendously he gets Worf Effected in team books and as a guest star in other titles, but no such thing occurs in his own book. And it's funny how outside of the people who just want to troll or joke around at Thor's expense - the people who are dead serious on trying to "demote" Thor or whatever - really have no idea what the hell goes in his own title or just outright ignore it like it doesn't matter.
Aside from that, ignoring events from his own book makes it easier to drink from the cup of hate. 👆

bashful
It basically happened right after the Avengers came out, which is strange. Outside of the comedic Hulk punching Thor segment, the movie certainly didn't portray Thor as being weak or incompetent. Overall, the guy did the most damage to the Chitauri forces. I walked away, as did most people, with the impression that Thor was the most powerful and Hulk was the strongest (there is).
But yeah, it's certainly easier to drink from the cup of hate ignoring his own titles and going as far as to claim his prior feats don't even matter.
Originally posted by JakeTheBankI thought the same. Nothing in that film made Thor look anything but stellar, imo.

I don't get it. Was that an impostor?
No, it was real Thor. Black Panther comic, IIRC.

I thought Thor was bulletproof?😕
Depends on the era/writer... but he's never been known for his piercing durability, unlike let's say Superman.
