I wonder why you wonder so much

It's bizarre how horrendously he gets Worf Effected in team books and as a guest star in other titles, but no such thing occurs in his own book.

And it's funny how outside of the people who just want to troll or joke around at Thor's expense - the people who are dead serious on trying to "demote" Thor or whatever - really have no idea what the hell goes in his own title or just outright ignore it like it doesn't matter.

I just think it's strange how consistently he's been smacked around these last few months in various titles. It literally came out of nowhere, as though someone in the upper echelon of Marvel started hating him. Really weird.

Aside from that, ignoring events from his own book makes it easier to drink from the cup of hate. 👆

**** you Galan.
bashful

Would be pretty sad if he got his ass kicked in his own book.

It basically happened right after the Avengers came out, which is strange. Outside of the comedic Hulk punching Thor segment, the movie certainly didn't portray Thor as being weak or incompetent. Overall, the guy did the most damage to the Chitauri forces. I walked away, as did most people, with the impression that Thor was the most powerful and Hulk was the strongest (there is).

But yeah, it's certainly easier to drink from the cup of hate ignoring his own titles and going as far as to claim his prior feats don't even matter.

How so?

If the protagonist of a book doesn't get beat up or hurt in their own book from time to time, there's next to no sense of drama or suspense.

Definitely sounds like Octavious by the dialogue.

I thought the same. Nothing in that film made Thor look anything but stellar, imo.

Yes, you should try some haterade. Quite tasty. 👆

Yeah. And the animated series, Earth's Mightiest Heroes, did the same, especially in season 2.

Thor is the new Martian Manhunter...

I don't get it. Was that an impostor?

I thought Thor was bulletproof?

No, it was real Thor. Black Panther comic, IIRC.

Depends on the era/writer... but he's never been known for his piercing durability, unlike let's say Superman.

Lol. After Thor wakes up in that issue, he boasts about how he's survived in the core of the sun. Writers ftw.

You mean results like these :

There are probably more out there. If you really want the same results, then you're one hell of a glutton for punishment carver.
