The Starbrand's eventual death dance with Galactus has been hinted at before, plus Galactus has a far better claim to "palming universes" than Hyperion, that's why I asked Bran.

Also, cc was right. And I meant in terms of destruction Mike. The Celestial feat is far and away the Star Brand's best feat that I can recall.
Beating this Avengers lineup will be pretty cool though if it happens.

Beating this Avengers lineup will be pretty cool though if it happens.

Starbrand Reed one-shotting a Celestial still makes no sense to me. If he was capable of slaying Celestials with such ease, then why was he utterly powerless against the remaining four?

Expending a lot of energy to destroy one, getting the "drop" on the Celestial so to speak when he was attacking other Reeds. Meh.

The remaining four could have simply been more powerful as well. Well, Eson for sure at least.

Those Celestials being more powerful is the best explanation, I guess. Though clearly Starbrand Reed wasn't capable of flying up and slaying any Celestial he wanted, or else he would have killed them all in the time it took 616 Reed to leave the fortress and get his entropy gun. /shrug

He probably threw everything he had into his first shot, plus that one seemed more focused on killing the others.
