Sake of Story, read the entire issue or take a look at the 6th page 3rd panel (or 7th page right down corner) gives away what this will lead into.

EDIT: Also people shouldn't put that much weight into comedic moments, Carver still thinks/claims Wolverine can no sell everything SM can throw at him for that comedic instance after Wolverine stabbed him during a training session. Going by stuff like that I can claim SM blitzes Wolverine like he did in the scene where he threw him out of the Stark Tower (which I don't do)

Tbf in this very issue both Jester and Screwball speed blitz like 4 bodyguards, moved faster than thei eyes could follow.:/

Yeah but Man Ape is an obscure character so they can probably get away with it.

Can ANYONE explain how the hell Thanos and Starlord are alive and in 616 reality when they were last seen trapped in the collapsing Cancerverse?
