Don't think you should rush judgement with Reed all wrapped around Terrax as he's swinging. Probably slowed the attack of the axe an unknown degree. Sharp as it is it didn't get to swing.

Tony's armor should not be in the same category as heralds. Maybe if you throw in advanced shielding and Reed saving his life.. maybe i'll consider him a low meta.

Lol @the rampant low-balling

Him being an "alternate" Terrax already puts some ambiguity onto the feat, but really, the intent of using even an alternate reality herald - literally a Herald of Galactus, not just the fan named tier - and having Tony survive the stroke is pretty clear. And it's not a one time thing, either.

Tony's armor is already in the same category as heralds and has been for a while. Not sure if serious or joking.

The fact that Iron Man was treated like a bit[c]h by Terrax but didn't get split in half doesn't mean that he is most certainly low herald, planet splitting or not [or not would be the essential part, since this is an alternate universe Terrax]

You're so caught up in the retarded kinetic energy delivered/OMG THE AXE BUSTS PLANETS H1 style of counter-logic, that you can't see the simple fact - in this showing, Iron Man was bitched by Terrax, who on his best day would still get his shit kicked in by most mid-heralds.

Hmmm?

Him surviving the stroke, when Terrax was certainly intending to kill him (planet busting power or no, though we know that Terrax's axe is capable of achieving that power) is certainly a testament to Iron Man's armor and is one feat of several within the past couple of years alone to warrant Tony being a low herald.

Not sure if you're just looking to argue/be pissy or don't have anything better to do, but I'm sure there's a poster in need of white knighting somewhere.

Not being torn in half from a blow by somebody who is low herald...doesn't make Iron Man a low herald.

There are feats that warrant Tony being a low herald. This isn't one of them - in fact it's one of the ones that say quite the opposite.

I'd appreciate it if you kept it point-related, and not trying to be clever.

Clever doesn't suit you.

But he's right though.

People are attempting to credit an ALT REALITY Terrax with a feat done by his 616 counterpart. That's ridiculous. Even worse than crediting 616 characters with feats done by their ALT REALITY selves.

We know nothing of ALT REALITY Terrax powerwise.

It was cool how BB knocked him the phuck out though.

I think alt. reality/timeline characters should be looked at by a case by case basis, especially when they're used in a story when the original one is dead or otherwise not useable.

And we know plenty about him powerwise.

Given the intent and what happened, I find it hard believe that Alt. Reality Terrax was designed to be any less formidable than his 616 counterpart. If there's evidence pointing to that front, okay, but why should an alternate reality version be automatically declared "weaker" because he's from an alternate reality. Until a character can definitively showcase himself as being weaker or stronger than a 616 character, there's no reason to assume one way or the other.

Guys, wrap it up please. This thread can only take so many more closures.

Hey, all I'm saying is that Tony surviving a lethally intended axe shot from a Herald of Galactus - who, by all rights, hasn't really given off the impression that he should be any weaker than his 616 self, who's dead currently as far as I know - is more evidence to suggest him being a low herald.

But if you'd like the topic dropped, okay. 👆

Not true.

Does anyone have the scans of the Terrax showing? I know you do Rage.
