Was it? I don't remember.

I liked the animated movie's use of Captain Atom in that regard. Made a lot of sense.

I know that Brion was used to sink Europe. I just don't remember if he was used for the same weapon that was used later.

Damnit, now I'll have to go back and look.

Just checked. It was Geo-Force's powers amped by Vulko's science.

...I still like the animated movie's use of Captain Atom more, though.

I like Brion more, so I'm happier with the comic version.

I like Brion more as well(he's always been one of my c-list favs.) I just think it makes more sense for CA to be used as the power source for a 'global bomb', because his energies seem... I dunno... More weaponizable?

Though I'm sure the only reason CA was used over Brion in the movie is because the average viewer isn't going to have a clue who the phuck Geo-Force is. /shrug

Yeah, Geo Force is pretty obscure for the general viewers, even more than Captain Atom for sure.

And yeah Pr, poor Ireland indeed.

On a different note Pr a new Emperor Aquaman respect thread is up in Comicvine.
Would it be OK if I posted a link here?
