Lose lose situation for both in terms of battle board fodder. If Thanos is relatively unharmed, then the King's scream becomes less and less impressive. If Thanos gets phucked up, than he looks bad as well.
There was a time when the King didn't even have to bust out his coupe de grace attack and could still blast the likes of the classic Sphinx into deep space with just his antenna energies. Now he's probably going to be yelling every other issue lol.
Just want to throw out that the machine in that scan in the room is a device that controls BB voice. So basically, Thanos isn't feeling the full power behind BB voice. Also, looking at that scan, Thanos is feeling all of that power...he isn't going go tank it. With that said, if Thanos is damaged, a lot...then that basically puts BB voice on a different level since Thanos has withstood attacks from Skyfathers.
