This Batman is supposed to be a spirit of vengeance type. So, he's already dead, which is why the bullet didn't kill him.

He's a spirit of vengence (sort of like the Spectre or Ghost Rider)!? Can I please see scans of this (I don't really know that much about Earth 2 batman)?

It's just the rumor that has been going around. Rumor has it that this Batman is Thomas Wayne brought back from the dead. It seems about right.

is it me , or does the gun shot didn't penetrate E2 batman's helmet? and from the first image in the last scan. it looked like shards of something(the bullet?). and not blood, or maybe i saw it wrong.
