👆On another note, this issue confirmed what I've long suspected: that Thanos has a sloppy vagina in his chest:
Which is interesting given that the comics itself make it very clear that this IS taking place within the DC omniverse... The characters even recall some of their specific/canon battles. /shrug

Ah yes. That spiel. 👆Hordak or Orko? If you meant the latter, then yes.
He went from 2 feet tall and useless to someone who looks like he can easily swat Skeletor's head entirely off.

Writer's words on canonicity is final.
Even the Elseworlds stories of old were always different enough from mainstream comics for us to very clearly know that we were dealing with an entirely different/alternate universe, with entirely different/alternate characters(World's Funnest was the only exception, but this was [also] very clearly shown/stated in the comic itself.) Heck, even now in post-Flashpoint DC, the differences between universes has been blatantly depicted and/or stated. That said, everything in the mini itself has pointed to it being canon thus far-- absolutely nothing has even hinted at its non-canonicity. Same exact characters as mainstream DC. Same exact teams as mainstream DC. Same exact powers as mainstream DC. Same exact uniforms as mainstream DC. Same exact previous adventures as mainstream DC. Same exact earth as mainstream DC. A breakdown on DC cosmology just so we know it is taking place in DC's prime creation. Etc. etc.
That said: I could care less about weberviews. I'll believe it's non-canon when the comic itself tells me it is. 🙂
PS. I don't care if it is non-canon at all-- I'd actually prefer it, tbh. Just saying that right now Giffen's weberview contradicts what he's written/published in the comic, which is why I'm not clinging to it as much as you are.

Spiel:A lengthy or extravagant speech or argument usually intended to persuade.
Where the hell was that "spiel"
Just super strength + super speed, who claimed that Ultraman had all the same exact powers that Superman?
And why are you bringing that all the way down here, serious issues with that.
Anyway, not intending to derail, but that is all I will say on the matter.

And in the next issue, its revealed that mainstream Superman WAS killed.
But DCnU Superman now has resurrection powers, and can never stay dead for long.
Abhi dies from excitement.

Personally I like else worlds stories better 😎

Eww, don't judge Superman as a whole by the shit-fest that is Batman/Superman.Honestly it is probably THE worst series I've ever read. Pak hits another homerun. 👆
