I've never read Invincible so please tell me how he survives getting his intestines ripped out, getting holes punched through his body, and generally surviving thing that would kill some of the hardest to kill superheroes. Does he have a healing factor?
He must. Those hits are typically healed from only by the likes of Wolvie, DP, or Hulk...
I am definitely picking up this series!
Yeah viltrumites (his race) are very hardy, able to survive wounds and blood loss/shock that would kill any normal human. Evisceration, decapitation and massive brain injuries seems to instankill em, tho. But I've seem then take blows to the head that popped out their eyeballs, crushed both hands, getting impaled by punches, etc and still keep on fighting.
The wound Invincible suffered up there took a few months to heal fully (which included having to regrow his spine which took the longest to do), indicating a healing factor. Healing via their tech is much faster, tho.
