..........
Well, yea. It's the source of all his power. I thought it was pretty obvious I was using that in my analysis.

I know... You love Dick. 😖hifty:Sam is actually starting to grow on me. He reminds me of Jaime Reyes a bit--which is a good thing, as Blue Beetle is one of my all-time favorite series' in DC. 👆
I was trying to get on board, but I'm with dmills in this one. Where is that old fart anyway?

Meh. I mean, you're right, writers are often dumb. But it's not really a theory. It was stated in no uncertain terms and never retconned. It's how I view Galactus in every showing he's ever had.
I'm not going to draw a line on the sand on this, because you have a point. I just don't think anything involving the tooth is a big deal. Even minus M-body explanation, my general reaction to it is /srug

Maybe it's a more common look, but still not his only form.Let me put it another way...do you think he literally lost a tooth? Or do you think that the lost tooth was symbolic of his age, along with the rest of his look?
I think Thor knocked his tooth out yes (it looks like it was there at the start of the fight), because comics are silly. In the recent years this isn't the first time Galactus has literally vomited (not to mention silly things like knocking his hat off), and as i mentioned multiple comics have pushed the giant purple dude as his base appearance with his origin even saying that was simply what he looked like so when he regained power it took that form. I loved the whole people simply perceive him differently, but I think it received a soft retcon.

It has been referenced recently methinks, at least during the Nova ongoing there was some discussion about it if I recall correctly (I can't check my book right now).

It's been referenced recently. Can't remember where offhand but it was mentioned.
