I don't think even Starlin would do that.

Thanos as a character would be completely different at that level. It wouldn't even be Thanos anymore.

I'll lol if Thanos ends up becoming a new Abstract or replacing the current Eternity or something.

It's too bad I have a sig or I'd take this one:

For some reason, I find that to be pretty amusing.

Carver, Starlin is going to be writing a Thanos story in Savage Hulk starting with #7.

Have you prepared yourself? I mean, for all intents and purposes, Hulk will basically be Titan Boy or Thanos lad if he's starring in a story with Thanos written by Starlin.

Personally Im ready for something different with the character. Tired of the same damn story over and over.

Lol.

Lol.

Double lol.

Is he implying that Thanos will eventually be more powerful than beings like Zeus, Odin, Galactus, Celestials etc. and on the same level as Eternity/Infinity?

Ignore Thanos for a second here. Rage, do you see what it SEEMS Starlin is saying there?

He's placing Zeus and Odin on the same level as the Celestials/Galactus/Stranger!

Am I reading that right?

He's placing the LT at the top, then Eternity and Infinity, then Love/Hate/Order/Chaos, then Galactus/Odin/Zeus/Chronos/Celestials/Stranger.

he also said that Thanos is in the middle. Middle of one group? Or middle group?

Which isn't a lie exactly.

He got real chummy with Death no?

Odin would beat the shit out of the Stranger. Odin being on the same level as Galactus is not shocking.

Basically, while you may disagree how close they are, there's no denying that Odin and Galactus are peers in power, depending on how powerful Odin is and how fed Galactus is.

Odin being on par with a Celestial in power is not exactly surprising at this point. It might be contradictory to the Celestial arc but that story is contradictory to most history.

Zeus being that high up is a bit jarring but Starlin seems to view Zeus in the same way some people view Odin.

Love/Hate/Order/Chaos being above Galactus and others is not really supported by feats as far as I know but I think Starlin subscribes to a more rigid, handbook like power level structure.

Thanos believes that he would end up at that level in the future. So perhaps, some sort of power up down the line. Not his current level. That would be ridiculous.

I think this issue made it clear that Thanos is noticeably below more powerful entities even according to Starlin.

the bottom row of characters can be "killed". the rows above represent concepts, so there is a distinction of sorts

Agreed.. Wonder where he ends up, if he does receive a power up.

So basically... Thanos will beat Hulk, Annihilus, Gladiator, Thor, Surfer, Drax and a bunch of Skrulls, Kree, Brood, and the like in the future at the same time?

Well, that seems keen.
