for me, a good title is all about consistency. that said, sinestro is only 2 issues deep--way to early to judge if it'll be a good book in the long haul. and the gl titles are extremely hit and miss--some are really good and some are really bad(though new guardians is my favorite current lantern book.)where consistency is concerned: green arrow, aquaman, and wonder woman are the best all-around titles in dc right now, imo. almost every single issue delivers(especially green arrow.) JLD used to be among the top books in dc, but the story/plot has been slipping since the blight arc ended, which is a real shame--hoping it picks back up soon.
oh, good. i must have misunderstood you. 👆
same with myself and DCnU firestorm in that regard(but at least the DCnU didn't take a steaming dump on GA, like they did to poor FS.) 🙁
I guess we will agree to disagree. I think Venditti's GL has been pretty consistent in terms of quality. It's not a big spectacle like John's GL, but it's a breath of fresh air, IMO.
Agreed about Sinestro, but it's been pretty good so far. Red Lanterns deserves a mention, IMO. Solid every month.
Other titles I like are:
Futures End
Jeff Parker's Aquaman
Phantom Stranger
Swamp Thing
Action Comics
Batman (Snyder's Zero Year story is his best so far in the DCnU)
Batwing
