I guess at least some of this can be counted as them not wanting to hurt her so not going all out.

It's all cool though; this week gave us some scenes which allows us to estimate the limits of the current Hulk's strength(1), durability(2), and speed(3).

(1) Hulk gets stopped cold by IW's force field.
(2) He is nearly KO'd from a single shot by Nick Fury, and is finished by an eye blast.
(3) He is unable to match the speed of Steve's son.

One day Thor will learn to let go of his hammer when the person he is fighting is using it agaisnt him ❌

Well, you won't have to worry about his hammer anymore since he can no longer pick it up. This will show Thor's true potential. Think it would be a great read having him without Mjlonir for a bit. It'll give us a taste of his true physical might.
