Yeah but considering the context, his words of 'We can beat this' with no real plan were, as Dr Strange said, essentially hope and prayer in the face of a no win situation.

I mean sure, from an outside point of view, as reader we know they'll eventually deal with it, but in universe Steve had absolutely no solutions to the problem.

I mean Namor has a point in the last few issues, their lives and morals are nothing when compared to the lives of two entire universes.

Meh. Moral high ground will always prevail

That is Steve. I'd rather see that than see something out of character like him giving up.

I'd rather see him going "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIIIIIIEEEE!!!!!!"

yet in a preview, he was shown making a face going, "what have I done"

A brick named The Fist owns Power Girl. Punches her with the force of a planet and sends her flying faster than the speed of light.

Just looked into it. It's also worth pointing out that it take place in a far away galaxy and the punch sends her all the way back to Earth (of all places). So it sent her flying thousands if not millions of light years...

Notice the error of the artist? At first the fist is winding up to punch her like a normal punch and in the next panel, its a backhand.

Petty stuff, I know.

That was some very poor reasoning to decide the fight.
