Marvel video games are ass.
ASM 2 was meh .
Iron Man games were meh.
Last Hulk game was meh compared to Ultimate Destruction.
Thor game was meh.
Deadpool was funny as hell but it was pretty meh.
Lego was great though.
Still have to play Infnity however.
Ultimate destruction is an all time great in my book. Marvel should really bring in some outside talent to do their games. For example, the arkham games have me fantasizing about someone like Rocksteady doing a Spider-man game. The reason most of these newer games from them are ass is frankly because their cheap movie tie ins and not inspired ideas.

My dream game is Smash Bros. meets Ultimate Destruction. Superheroes in a fully destructible city environment, just fighting the bejeezus out of each other.
MMOs have probably come the closest to this, but the combat isn't as visceral as it would need to be to sate me. Every other game, like the trailer above, is too much in the Mortal Kombat vein, and less like UD or the better Spider-Man games.

How hard is it to add slightly more complex damage models to characters, and add maybe a dozen characters/power sets all using similar control schemes (a la Smash Bros.)? They could literally just release it as an add-on to UD; I wouldn't even care about the dated graphics.
