Remember, Matt Wagner himself --the guy who CREATED Grendel, and has been writing him for decadeS-- wrote this mini. So the fact that he had his pet character get outright owned by The Shadow on MULTIPLE occasions, should tell you where Lamont stands in the minds of writers everywhere.

Kluh was chewing on his arm instead of ya know, fighting him. Don't think he was taking the fight seriously at all. Kluh isn't that great anyways...he's a Hulk created from the sad parts of Hulk. Can't see how that makes him more powerful.

Also, they are over hyping the character. Spiderman not only compared him to Galactus, he also said that it would take the infinity Gauntlet to stop him.

I wonder who is going to beat him.

So The Shadow. I actually don't care much about the level of feats, but he's got an inimitable style to him that's pretty cool. Flawed as the movie was, it's part of the reason I enjoyed the old Baldwin film.
