why wouldn't Bruce be able to hold his own? Vader was using the Force to sustain himself so it's not like he was operating at full capacity and Bruce IS a trained swordsman.

^^The dialogue in that scene was particularly intriguing.
The thing the Black Priest is speaking about the Swan flying South and shooting it.
Sounds a lot like the poem Rime of the Ancient Mariner, in fact it's almost looks entirely referenced bar it's not an Albatross but a group of Swans.
May not be true but it sounds similar.
