When did darkseid get so powerful?
It's just when he boomtubes that he's Superman ish level. In other words, the boomtube puts people on his level. It's basically a Giant Man premise. In his natural state he was big enough to drag the multiverse down when he fell like a slob down it. Others stories don't put him as big but he's still massive.
When you see him in the forums, it's always his boomtubed down to size form. Otherwise any New God would wipe the floor with like 90 percent of the people they are put against. It'd be like Iron Man vs the Microverse

Vader (2/2):
Okay, I've never been a big Vader fan but that was pretty sweet.
By the way, I've read some Wiki saying in the old SW Expanded Universe (?) that Boba blasted his way out of the Pit eventually. I doubt it is known yet, but did they keep that to these newer stories?
Also, did anyone else read Vader's speech bubbles in Mr. Jones's voice?

^ Yes! I did and I wasn't too fond of how he was "speaking", like the sentences don't ring like whomever wrote the trilogy scripts imo. It was more Hayden anti-CHRISTiensenâ„¢(you heard that name here first)
Originally posted by Ptr_GrifinYes, in the SW mythos of old(which is now non-canon/"Legends" material) Boba survived falling into the Sarlacc Pit.

The new/canon/Marvel material hasn't yet caught up to the RotJ-era, however, thus we do not yet know if Boba will end up surviving [again].

Tbf fair Odin's killed a shed load of beings too over the course of his existence.
Well of course, so has Thor. But is killing a frost giant the same as unleashing maniacs into cities and telling them to kill?
I don't mind it thiugh, I thought it'd be B.S. if fear itself was all we ever saw of Cul.

Just send in the goons to show Jabba a hologram of Vader/Palpatine while guns are pointed at everyone's faces. He has more important stuff to do than to almost step on Jabba's ACME pitfall, plus he can choke him from another planet

Sure he would. He is beginning to suspect who Luke is. This is something Vader would want to deal with personally especially since he doesn't want Palpatine to know about Luke.
Said so before, mind hasn't changed, story dialogue and motifs reinforce the idea:
new Thor is Enchantress. No one else fits the evidence so well:
-- attracted to Thor
-- speaks of Earth as an Asgardian would
-- obsessed with keeping her identity secret at all costs
-- rebels against traditional authority even as she demonstrates respect for vows
-- takes solace, and faintly hints that she divests herself of Mjolnir on, the Moon.
-- demonstrated strength enough of her own, arguably, to tear a steel vault.
This was despite Mjolnir's power boost apparently fading away from her in a frost giant encounter
-- protected by forces or enchantments complicated enough to thwart Odin's own powers of divination
