Everyone just wants to see the next feat and compare it to others to either bring others up or bring someone down.

With that said, Slott is a really good fit for Surfer. It's a got a real whimsical feel without all the depression, though that might be due to Dawn. It's nothing like other Surfer comics while feeling exactly like Surfer comics.
Hope it doesn't get cancelled.
