Interesting. Can't wait for some of these matchups.

Superman is such a nice guy. That's what he tells j'onn after pulling his useless ass out of fire for like millionth time.
He fought so hard to keep a straight face while saying that. He might actually have developed a new superpower that moment, to stop him from laughing ("super-stern face"😉.

Actually, Extremis Tony used to theorize that Reed might be smarter only because of his superpower affecting his brain - like his Ultimate counterpart.PS. Reed is dumb as hell, an average street can beat him with his/hers bare hands. Tony is better than that, ffs.
It's also been stated that his intelligence isn't superpowered. Emma Frost was asking wether Reed was a mutant. I think it was an issue of Astonishing X men wish I could remember the description, it was like he's human but an extrodinary human.
I suspect Bendis wrote that. It seems that Reed is getting the Mister X treatment. Hank Pym isn't the scientist supreme but he is if the writers decide he is.

PS2. Posting once a year? What happened? Got tired of KMC?
Maybe.
Originally posted by UtrigitaI don't think he's especially a jobber. After all, he's just a human that has a very good amount of training. You can't expect him to hold up against people that were already super strong and had powers and then received training. If anyone were a jobber, I'd say it's vegeta. That guy is supposed to be one of the most powerful of the Z Fighters but he always gets wrecked.
If anyone can be looked on as the jobber wouldn't it be Yamcha?

So Tony is the smarter one then?Reed being marginally smarter when focusing on one thing, but Stark being clearly the better one at multitasking.
"H-he only made me bleed a little bit! L-look at the m-m-manhunter!"
No Reed is still smarter. Reed unequivocally claims to be smarter in absolute terms...marginally that is. He however tends to be more single minded in his application of his intellect whereas Tony is unparalleled at utilizing his intellect in solving multiple problems.
Still impressive for Tony though.
