Uh Thor in Roger Stern's run was afflicted with the brittle burns curse. Arguably the most defining arc of his run (Assault on Olympus) has it as a major plot point:See the fight with Zeus as well.
And he can't die but he does feel pain (He's actually in constant agony during this era) and is weaker than ever. Not that he did die as we see in the preview of the next issue where he's standing unharmed before Ultron.
Also, we actually see Hulk starting to regrow his head in the preview as well so that turns out to be a ridiculous healing feat actually.
But don't let facts get in the way of mindless lowballing.
I haven't seen the preview to next comic so can't comment on that. Mind posting the link of that preview?
