Wow. Did not see that coming. I was SURE this week would feature Wondy getting barbecued. First time in a long time DC has surprised me with anything.

I'm fairly certain the resolution is Superman ,forced to use the power of his yellow ring, finding a way to humble Zeus (who will step in over violation of the one-on-one rule of the contest).

In the meantime, I can only think what a shame it is they STILL don't see fit to give Wonder Woman the kind of awesome strength feats that encourage comic sales, and that even this kind of showing is never allowed to be final resolution.

Then again, I haven't felt nearly as supportive of the character as I did when I first started posting on this forum. There's an undercurrent to these things that I've been noticing that's proven too hard to ignore.

But I was genuinely surprised by what I saw this week.
Certainly wasn't expecting what we got.
