I think the writers are putting a lot of emphasis on her speed trumping his.

Look again. Superman and wonder man hit him twice before superman gets punched into space. Even though it's the same hand it's connecting to a different spot
So no I wouldn't say they were hyping wonder woman's speed over supermans there
