Surfer got owned by energy draining and wouldn't have survived by his own admission.
B-but, "drink suns" as if we take the hyperboles from characters as a feat.
LMAO.

Hyperbole? Considering that current Surfer's has the power of a star inside of him, and Acari was able to drain him, I doubt how him saying he drinks stars is hyperbole.

That lightning wasn't meant to destroy, it was meant to be transferred (along with Acari) into the ground, through Groot's body. But of course, I wouldn't expect you to comprehend something that simple.Hyperbole? Considering, at no point surfer was supposed to have the power of a whole star in this issue, you're just extrapolating from two writers.
Surfer got owned, move along. It happens to every character. You want to discuss it? Make a new thread.

I'm stating the facts.
The Surfer in Groot's book is the same Surfer from Dan Slott's run, since Dawn is present. It was stated by Warrior One in Slott's series that Surfer contained the energy of a star inside of him. Acari saying he drinks stars is perfectly consistent with him being able to drain Surfer, hence not likely to be hyperbole.

Anyway you slice it, surfer got owned by energy draining for what, 20th time in history?
Nice record for him.

Prove its hyperbole tough guy. He was "explicitly stated" to drink suns. You don't get to decide what you hope is hyperbole.
