Can someone explain the ultimates for me? So they blasted him into his original incubation chamber and that did what exactly?

I'm going to read the actual issue today but it appears that they managed to use the Egg to transform Galactus yet again. This time into a Life Bringer.

Evidently Galactus was never able to complete his full metamorphosis--it was interrupted eons ago when his incubation chamber was attacked. As such, he awoke prematurely as 'the Devourer'.

When he was placed back into the chamber in this issue, The Ultimates essentially finished the metamorphosis--they forced his evolution. They transformed him into the entity he was apparently meant to become: the bringer of life... We'll see how long that lasts.

This idea is similar to what we saw in Last Planet Standing(a non-canon MC2 mini), with 'Silver Galactus':

It's also similar to what the High-Evolutionary became after absorbing the power of Surfer+Galactus-tech in Surfer's 2011 mini.

Thank the both of you. Isnt he supposed to be a devourer though? Isnt that like his whole 1/3 Universe role? Seems like a bad idea .Guess we will find out.

That's the one bad thing about comics, goddamn retcon.

I like the whole Devourer of World concept. Instead of changing Galactus, why not just create a new character that opposes Galactus stance in the Multiverse.

I give this less than 25 issues until it's retcon.

They did, but they killed him off.

Tyrant was the anti-Galactus. He had a vested interest in keeping Galactus from devouring worlds because he drew power from their bioshphere. But Marvel handled it all wrong and they had to off him and actually offed Galactus too (but it was retconned to him teleporting away at the last possible instant).

Marvel has horrific writers. Even DC's worst is still better than what Marvel is currently putting out.

Marvel and dc constantly switch writers though
Both have good, average, and bad.

I was looking at a creator of world stance instead. let's say that once Galactus eat a certain amount of World, he's opposite shows up and re create the world.

Let's say the reason he's not always around is that they share a cycle. When one sleeps, the other's awake.

Also, have you read Convergence lately? That was a bad story, no matter how you flip it.

Tyrant was a shitty character though.

"Hurr, durr, here is ANOTHER Galactus creation we never heard of, he is equal to him though and he is evil because why not? "

This is just shitting on Kirby's legacy.

Imperiex was even shittier if that's even possible.

I find a lot of arc villains shit

Huh. I guess Eternity, Death, Phoenix, Odin, Watchers, and Reed Richards were wrong about Galactus' role in the Marvel Universe.

Good thing Panther at least can see the Truth.

I'm just glad Panther didn't armbar Galactus.

Well, Panther is on the scene now.

Thanos is dead.

And guess who can control the dead?

Thanos seems a little too dead to be of much use.
Isn't Pather controlling Zombie's and stuff?
Thanos is a pile of bones and a suit at this stage.
