Pure lulzworthy if a Bendis goes that far.

Christ. I said from the very beginning Bendis was gonna phuck this up. I said it was probably gonna be Logan or Fury and this is just as bad.

I really need the comics industry to go thru another crash. Or at least Marvel.

To be fair, Marvel has been extremely consistent with f*cking up Tony's character and his continuity.

But this... if true, this is - almost - on a whole new level 😂

There were subtle hints in the last issue of Int. Iron man that Tony may not actually be adopted and that Tony just really wants to believe it. That's how I hope it all shakes out. A wild goose chase that leads right back to how things should be anyway.

Ah, a retcon basically erasing the earlier retcon, which will result in bringing the things back they were? Much better than abhi's rumours.

These are my favourites. Clone Saga or Romulus' lupus sapiens shit, prime examples.

Yup, heaven rejoiced the day they retconned Clone wars. Also wow thanks for reminding me of that weird Romulus lupin Wolverine run 😘

Even though Loeb got rid of that (perhaps Marvel forced him to do so), he did something equally as bad in that sequel arc to "Evolution":

Weapon X... it was entirely your idea, Logan.

facepalm

Tbf I'm pretty sure everyone has ignored all that stuff Loeb did.

Although pretty funny that the whole 'Wolverine chose the Weapon X procedure' was the big thing from X-men Origins Wolverine and was stupid in that as well.

Yeah, they did. Even that Remus chick didn't re-appear anywhere else, afaik.

Exactly... one of the great many things that made the movie suck so bad...

Man, I mean The Wolverine wasn't great (1st half pretty good, got progressively worse) but compared to that it's an awesome Wolverine film. It's actually impressive how much XMO:W has wrong with it. I mean, it's just terrible in every conceivable way.

Kuekuatsheu 🙁

Old Man Logan a.k.a. Wolverine III might potentially be even worse. Imagine FOX replacing the Hulk Gang with the Blob Gang, for example.

Eh, it might be okay.

Rumour is X-23 might be in it which could be cool. But yeah, it's gonna be weird as I imagine most of the villains will have to be generic mutants.

Yeah, remember, Tony wasn't even the original Tony iirc. The 616 Tony Stark died and they got another one from another universe that was younger to take over, who also died, and then was replaced with another adult and and then just over time pretended it never happened that way.

Been ages... totally forgot about Etemon, lol.

Etamon was a phukkin boss. I take it that's his mega form.

Yeah, Metaletemon. He fought Puppetmon in that form.

👆

Etemon was the the absolute best. Like a weird cross between Johnny Bravo and Elvis.

Metal Etemon got punked pretty quickly, but he had some good moments before he finally bit it.

I forgot about digimon tri. If we don't get all 8 mega forms by the end of it then they've missed a huge opportunity. THIS is all I wanted to see as a kid

Tri has been...solid. A bit slow, but I really like that they tried to bump up the maturity of the emotional struggles a little bit, to account for their obviously-aging demographic. The kids aren't aging in real-time, of course, or they'd be like 24-32 in Tri. But it also feels like I'm still the audience, whereas if I were to go back and watch the original, it might not age quite as well.

Anyway, who are we missing? We've technically seen most of the Mega digivolutions by this point, though not all at once of course. Joe and Mimi checked off two noticeable gaps. I think maybe Izzy and Sora are due.

Extending beyond the TV shows, I think we've already seen theirs too. But I'm less familiar with the video games, mangas, etc. where things get even nuttier.

God I hope so.

I f*cking hate Cylo... Never wanted a SW villain to die more. 👆

That bad, huh ?
