I believe that Barry was intended to have surpassed Wally when he was first resurrected -- Barry essentially WAS the Speed Force, ffs. However, those roles have been reversed with the freshly resurrected kid Wally -- he now seems to be faster than Barry.
Regardless, Johns LOVES speedsters(the Flash Family in particular), so they're going to continue doing ridiculous shit... At least until this "Rebirth" event has concluded.
*On the FC note: I still think the best moment of that Flash/BR race was Superman being able to identify Barry Allen as he blew by him at FTL speeds. 😄

It's up to the writer, and I don't think the gap between Wally & Barry will EVER be shown as considerable, or even one at all.
As for FC, that was an awesome wink by Grant for the Superman/Barry relation. It's even more impressive since he had time to process/call Barry before the latter reached Darkseid who was standing literally right in front of Superman, so it was nigh-instant.

Hmm, that was actually pretty good.It was a bit childish in the sense that here the Sh'iar mobilized their entire fleet and the Asgardians being as proficient as they are at war don't mount any real offensive except the few elite.
Also who's taking bets on Female Thor beating the shit out of Gladiator before this is over? He definitely doesn't want to take a Mjolnir hit to the face.

One good swing from her hammer, a punch to the face, lightning blasts etc. would've all stunned Gladiator very nicely. It looked dominating but it was hardly evidence of her being helpless.
I think Gladiator was in a far more compromising position if Jane decided to keep bashing away with her hammer instead of talking when he was on the ground. Repeat of Eric Masterson part 2.
She didn't black out, they were teleported away.
