Id ignore him honestly. The whole arc has shown thanos reeling from the disease. After his fight with Corvus he was bleeding from his mouth. Iirc glaive was getting ragdolled. His father said he had weeks to live. On top of that he faced three waves of imperial guardsmen. Even Thane said he couldn't hope to face his father and to not doubt him even if he's sick. It's a great damage soak showing for thanos moreso than any feat for kallark
It shows the difference a full power Thanos has over Gladiator, Thanos one shotted Hiemdall whilst Gladiator had a fight on his hands.

I'm glad that even with marvel making so many monumental mistakes, they're still showing star wars the respect that it deserves.Btw, love the quinlan vos sig & avi, one of my favorite jedi.
Marvel is stepping up. Hulk, Moon Knight, Thanos and Unworthy Thor are decent arcs
Originally posted by Sin I AM👆 haven't been reading thanos or hulk, but unworthy Thor is awesome. I just hope he gets over his self loathing soon, it's starting to kill his character for me. Still, though, they have a lot to fix before they can even begin to be considered a competitor for the top comic company imo.

I feel like Richard Ryder said it best last week, all of these unnecessary changes and dead characters that were literally the backbone of their company and equally abysmal storytelling in so much of what they're doing right now is turning me off.
Originally posted by deathslash👆 I've said it before, but ALL of the SW titles have been fantastic -- and the main series is certainly no exception. It has expanded on the characters(in a VERY positive way) more than the films could ever hope to. Loving the current Yoda story, and I'm stoked for the upcoming Darth Maul mini as well. Great time to be a SW fan for sure. 😄

Thanks! Vos has always been my favorite Jedi, bar none. However, I was rereading Dark Disciple and forgot just how much I like the guy... Aside from his borderline reckless, yet overall hysterical and badass demeanor, that mofo is extremely skilled/powerful(especially when he taps into the dark side.) I'm talking Dooku-level powerful. ohhh

More importantly, any Alien/Predator/Engineer books published by Dark Horse since 2013 are also canon to the franchise(s)... Which is really cool, especially where the Engineers are concerned. 👆
I need to start reading those.

They can't afford to mess around with THAT since the comics are actually canon to the universe.

Read dark disciple and I absolutely love knowing that vos managed to trash Dooku. Wasn't expecting the writer to play up his unpredictability and speed to that level, but it was awesome to see quinlan essentially be portrayed as one of the Order's top jedi. Hope he survived order 66 in the new canon.

The comics hold just as much weight as the films in current canon.

I will be pissed if Quin didn't survive O66, as even in Legends he survived. In fact, the final arc of the comic series Republic is probably my favorite Legends/comic story of all time(hell, it's one of my favorite SW stories in general), as it beautifully details how Vos survived O66 -- fighting for his life against the troopers, recalling a few key lessons from previous Masters, etc. It is just a phenomenal read.
But even in canon, Vos is still portrayed as THAT Jedi; the guy who can survive the unsurvivable. That said, I'd put money on him surviving O66, tbh -- at the end of the day he's just too damn good to discard like that.
*On a related note: I personally think it'd be one hell of an awesome twist if Quin ends up being Rey's father in Ep. VIII. After all, Rey(like Vos) can also use Psychometry, which is a VERY rare/unique ability... Even among Jedi. Can you imagine the uproar that'd cause, lol..?
