WAIT!Did Mxy just say whoever is behind this disturbance is BEYOND even HIM?! Galan is going to have a heart attack!
That said, DC is fiddling with some SERIOUSLY over the top power right now... Hopefully it'll be handled well. ermm

Who do you think it could be? Or is it just a new character?

I can't imagine the 'big bad' not tying directly to the Watchmen, given all the hype from DC and whatnot. At this point I'm starting to wonder if Ozy found a way to 'acquire' Manhattan's power, and used it to f*ck with creation..? /shrug
Good theory. And Ozy is using Manhattan's power to it's fullest capability, because he's just that smart.
But then, who is Mr. Oz?

Additional proof that Superman is the linchpin that literally holds together the universe(s):

Yeah so a lot got thrown at us in the span of two issues soo....
I need clarification! Unless I a misunderstanding, did Mxy create his own phucking Multiverse in the Infinite Planet? Are those infinite possibilities each its own alternate universe?
I suppose you could think of it as a 'pocket multiverse' or somesuch, but context considered, I personally view it kind of like a 5D version of the Omega Sanction -- akin to what Darkseid used on Bruce:
ie. Mxy's Infinite Planet tailor-makes a 'life trap' of sorts, which infinitely hyper-evolves just to f*ck with its 'targets'(which were obviously Superman and Lois in this case.)
...Just a theory, but it seems sound based on the limited information we have. /shrug
Bruce jobbed so hard in that comic. This is what should've happened:

question:
is it possible that Mr. oz LET mxy out to fulfill some part of his grand plan? i mean, how else could mxy have "escaped" a place where his powers were completely negated? 😕
We learned in the first issue of the 'Superman Reborn' arc that Mxy's escape certainly wasn't intentional, as it took Mr. Oz completely by surprise:
Furthermore, the whole reason Oz kidnapped Mxy in the first place was to permanently remove him from play so that he couldn't interfere with his machinations:
As for how Mxy escaped an inescapable prison: doing the impossible is just what that lovable Imp does. 😉
