Cant say i appreciate that scene. DC is on some fanboy shit now. Im all about giving chararacters a push but thats straight up disrespect.
I see that mostly as something that could happen given Zod strength and Mongul's weight.
It should also happen with anyone on that level of strength, the only difference is that characters that can fly will be able to come back and fight while characters that can't fly won't be able to come back.
Which will be the case in here, not disrespect but some logic, IMO
Superman has been hit in a similar manner straight to the moon and I don't think no one saw it as disrespectful for Superman.
Also it will be cool to see how much force it will be required to put someone the size of Mongul or Superman in space. I think Mongul weights more than 1000 lbs while Superman is somewhere around or below 250 lbs

Rao thats casual ownage. He blitzed and bfred Mongul mid sentence
History has displayed Mongul as stronger than Clark. But you have Zod casually one shot and send him into orbit? I mean at one point Mongul was being set up as the Thanos of DC. I just dont like this current whoring of characters to make anything Kryptonian look good. All i see is finger snaps and bs.

Jesus, it can't be that hard to keep character progression going can it? Thor's acting like he did when he just lost the hammer, but he got over that personality after the unoworthy thor miniseries. He even called himself Thor again a few times.

Mongul is no near PC levels anymore and I didn't take it as disrespectful to the character to be honest. He is after all not as powerful as before. And like I said, it is something that it could happen if Zod hits any opponent so hard that they reach escape velocity it happens that Mongul didn't have the means to return back to the fight, also he didn't got KO from such a punch and he was fine and OK surviving in space.
Don't see disrespect but i understand your pov.

Ya, that was written as freshly Unworthy, shirtless Thor who hadn't come to grips with the whisper or even went off to fight the Builders and Beyonders into the super-flow.
Weird and lazy writing.
It's kind of confusing why he is so adamant not to be called his birth name.
