Is that ult Reed being his evil self with the IG no less?
In the final arc of "Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates" (issues #25-30, iirc), Maker's goal was to gather the Infinity Gems of his universe(there were eight Gems in the Ult. universe, which required the user to wear two different Gauntlets iirc.) And one of the Gems actually appeared INSIDE Tony's brain, in the guise of a tumor...but good ol' Maker had absolutely NO qualms 'acquiring' that one:
none
*Mind you, this was the same arc that saw characters like Ult. Hulk touting the dual Gauntlets:
😂
Suffice to say, that arc was complete garbage, lol. Now the FIRST arc of the series, which officially introduced Ult. Reed as 'The Maker'(issues #1-12) was absolutely fantastic... Hickman at his best, tbh(and to top it off, Ribic did most of the artwork for it.) droolio
Pretty much, yeah. That's just a different writer's take on Maker, unfortunately... You'll notice that when Hickman writes Maker, however, he's portrayed entirely different(*see the first run of 'Ultimate Comics: Ultimates' and 'Secret Wars'*) There was nothing 'nutty' about him -- he was just a bad motherf*cker.
Everyone else just sort of f*cks Maker up when they try to write him. Ewing recently did okay, but still not that great when compared to Hickman.

Would you happen to have the fight he had with Thor?

To me, it looks like Ult. QS' gotten more formidable in his newer appearances.I mean, take a look at this:

2. http://i.imgur.com/W5mA2Uc.jpgHudson is no Wolverine, but still.
He's always been an absolute beast tho.
Remember his fight vs thing?

I guess this Reed's not a cockhold to Sue and Namor. Good for him.
That's the best drawn Superman in years. I love it. I masturbated to it.

I'd go again, but I've gotten enough friction burns already...
