No. As much as I love Superman, Darkseid should never be treated like a one hero villain of the weak.
Darkseid is so much more than a one dimensional being. Darkseid should be written the way Kirby first thought of him as.
Darkseid brawling should always be a last form of defense. Darkseid is a manipulator of wills, a destroyer of all that his good. Darkseid in the end plays the long game, not the quick result.
Anytime Darkseid appears, all the heroes should be shitting themselves with what his presence alone brings to the table. Darkseid should never be outsmarted by the likes of Batman in anything. From Superman/Batman arc with the bombs, and Final Crisis with the radion bullet, both scenes being pure idiotic.
Since Kirby, only two mediums that had given Darkseid his due, even then, they still **** him up. Final Crisis from Morrison. And the Superman animated series, when Darkseid mind ****ed Superman into invading Earth.

Anyway, it was pretty meaningless. Pure sparring match. Shang got his hit. Steve got his hit. Not definitive by any means.
I liked the scene, but it's next to useless for vs. forums, unless someone wants to show how cool it is for Shang/Steve is to be a match for... Steve/Shang.

because that scan is an indication to caps superiority. of course, shang took him down first with a throw and cap got right up and they continued. however when cap hits shang he doesnt get up and he keeps sitting to the point cap reach his hand to help shang get up. yes it was only a spar, however its an indication that cap hits too hard for shang to handle. of course a real fight between the 2 can look differently. but as far as shang handle a hit from cap, thats whats up.
