The series has been pointless ever since Ganthet.

It was designed to hype a game, and that ship has long since sailed.

I mean, Constantine was pretty awesome, but he isn't even in any of the games.

I liked Injustice (from the scans posted here, at least).

We all knew it was not main canon and we had fun with it. Shiteriex fits the series well.

It had some fun concepts. Problem was, it got pretty bad about closing off storylines.

I'm pretty sure the turtles rights for videogame media isn't linked to IDW just like Star Wars comics and movies were managed by different brands. Still a valid point with Hellboy though.
