The reddish glow on Superman makes him look epic, especially with that art. Apollo looks kind of sleezy though.

1) I own the issue.

2) Clark is way too weak to deal with Appolo. The latter literally swat him like a bug.

3) He could BFR him thanks to the convenient supercharge of energy, otherwise he didn't have the power to do it.

4) Goku train hard and learn new techniques/transformations. While the first time he transformed into a super saiyajin was unexpected, Goku still wins thanks to his willpower, hard training and skill.

5) I'm not bitching at all.

6) "trope" and "accept"

I'm still curious how it's the "usual, convenient plot" like it happens all the time or something.
