I always found it weird to see characters in superhero comics not believe in supernatural stuff.

Mr. Teriffic being an atheist with Spectre, Lucifer etc. in his Universe is just baffling.

Bro, get over it. No one cares. Thor fans have gotten so meh about it from what I can tell, you're more enthusiastic than they are.

She's a female, it's Marvel. That's the name of the game. Just be glad there wasn't a crossover. Superman is ripe for some feminism to knock down his hegemonic toxic masculinity as a CIS, heterosexual, Caucasian male.

Spoiler:
That was satire, but there are actual human beings out there who speak and think like that. It's terrifying.

😂

I hadn't clicked the link.

DC would never do that, because unlike Marvel they actually value the look and feel of their ip. They learned their lesson when they made Wonder Woman into a kung fu chick..

Worst we get is alternate universe changes like Barrack Obama Superman.

Question because I see a lot of hypocrisy here. If Jane has been consistently doing well against people outside of her tier, doesn't this speak on her power level instead of ya know diminishing the character she is beating or stalemating. Kind of like Superman vs the Probes. It spoke on his power level when he defeated a gang of them by some of the people here and a lot of you didn't use it as a down showing for the Probes. Why change it with Jane? Unless your nickname is hypocrite.

Aaron outright said that Thor and Hulk are two of the most powerful beings in the Universe. I'm guessing he is showing this through his writing.

Jane lost against Gladiator.

If she was really a skyfather buster, she should have crushed him and the entire Imperial Guard.

I tend to agree with what you’re saying

Sure people can say “low feat” but eventually that power level becomes the norm.

However, I think this power level that Jane is showing is mostly under one writer. If another writer actually takes over, it’s hard to argue

I’ve joked about it in the past but I do believe Jane Thor is stronger than Odinson

Overreaction is an overreaction.

But Abhi does not have to worry about any more "insults" from me.

I don't like all the Hal pimping at Kyles expense.

"Is this what it feels like to be you??!".

"Next issue: Hal for a day!"

I agree to a certain part, when we have a universe where characters have literally been in the afterlife etc. and came back to tell from it, it doesn't really makes much sense, hell Spider-Man even met The One Above All in person and made a deal with the devil. In this particular instance though fortune tellers (at least this one) are obvious scammers.

There's also multiple cosmic beings claiming to be gods. It's easy for a scientist to dismiss Spectres claims in the evidence of multiple death gods and planes of existence.

John Ostrander touched on this with Spectre arguing with Zeus and other gods over creation myths, insisting his is the one true origin, on the basis that they can't ALL be true.

And the other gods wisely said "why can't they?"

And that's the crux of religion... When you have contradictory evidence, and need to accept ALL of them as true, at the same time.

Jane is obviously on a whole different tier than the likes of Hulk and even Thanos.

Jane vs Odin is a lot more even than Thanos vs Odin.

Any Scans of this?

@JL King...

How many writers wrote Superman in OWAW?

Slight difference though

With OWAW, there is a narrative on why superman is stronger.

The same Gladiator who under the same writer, comics later, one punched a trans tier/Skyfather level being and flew across Galaxies in the Blink of an eye? Be quiet.

Also, I can use your argument against you.

They were beaten up by the Asgardians first.

Lol... that doesn't make a difference. Narration isn't always the determining factor of what is going on in a story. If Jane is consistently doing well against upper tier beings, this shouldn't be a discredit against the characters she is facing, it should be a positive for her.

All I'm saying is, you all need to be consistent. I see a lot of praise being thrown at other characters when they bust heads open outside of their tier but hate being thrown at Jane. Give props where props is due. The girl fought better against the Destroyer better than anyone I've seen. Worked Odin, ripped amped Adamantium and Vibranium with her bare hands. Took on the Phoenix Force and was enduring it's attacks. The list is long. If certain characters did any of this last yr or this yr, you all would be pissing all over those characters. Hell, Jane has shown better speed fts than any Thor I can think of.

Picking and choosing is a terrible way of debating.

Not sure about Destroyer. Jane looked like pulp. She got her @$$ handed to her. Her last gasp did absolutely nothing to the Destroyer. It looked like she was gonna bite the big one until the small army of feminazis w/Odinson(he counts cause of long hair) showed up to save her bacon.

She was withstanding the eye beams, everything it was throwing at her but she was on the losing end. Never said she was beating it but she did stay in the fight and did well.
