I think it's supposed to be canon, tbh.

Issue number?

Avengers - Back to Basics #1. Just came out today.

Seems like it's intended to be canon. The intro page, for example, even depicts a scene from All New/All Different Avengers #7.

Peep Loki's smile in the fourth panel lol. Classic trolling. I miss the Machiavellian Loki.

“Who are some of the initial supporting characters we’ll see in Immortal Hulk? Will this book feature familiar Hulk characters, brand new ones, or sort of a mix of both?

Ewing:And finally, there’s an old favorite who’s new to this title – Walter Langkowski, aka the Sasquatch. He’s taking a leave of absence from Alpha Flight to sort out some personal issues, and he needs Bruce Banner to do it. Langkowski and Banner were college friends, and Langkowski ended up duplicating Banner’s experiments and becoming Canada’s own hairy half-a-Hulk – I’ve been fascinated by Langkowski as a kind of healthy version of Banner, an intellectual jock, a big, handsome ex-Quarterback, millionaire, beloved hero of his country and his planet, and gosh-darned nice with it. How did Banner ever get along with this guy? And maybe more importantly – if Langkowski is so healthy and normal, why doesn’t he want to change into Sasquatch any more? And why does Sasquatch suddenly have matted, filthy fur, drool on his muzzle and a vicious gleam in his eye? Alpha Flight fans might remember the Great Beasts – but as I said, we’re not doing old continuity. This is something new…”

From the same issue:

Lol, can't wait to read this. Everything he did in that scene was to piss off Thor and start a fight between the Hulk and Thor. Epic trolling.

I hope Thor and Hulk have a fist fight and Thor ends up clobbering Loki after they foil his evil plan. Also, I don't know the circumstances but working with Loki unless he's holding someone hostage is dumb af. But Banner knows that hopefully.

if every single issue is like this from now on.......... I'd be fine with that.

It seems canon.

Nothing really happened in that Hulk/Thor scene. The real feat is Lord Jarvis making Loki bleed.
😂

Hulk casually stopped Thor strike with ease.

@Mungi...

I can't wait buddy. I hope Sasquash and Hulk team up together and toss a sun at Galactus while only using 10% of their power.

Took long years and Galan bribing the writer, but finally SD is worth our time.

bottom of page.

Superman is alive five billion years in the future, in the Earth's dying moments, completely unchanged. He also made Lois immortal:

Short story from Action Comics #1000 by Tom King. It is is quite good.

[since we're on this thread, he wonders whether he should simply push the Earth out of falling towards the sun, references some black hole wars and whatnot]
