And I hope Darkseid mashes Wonder Woman in. I don't like how they already teased Wizardseid and him being younger though. Especially with Darkseid aging via Zeus' power in the story. It implies Wonder Woman rips that power out.
Hopefully it's just a huge plot device
The lasso will rip out Zeus lifeforce.
It's a process of elimination, she can't physically beat him. It's either that, or she somehow weakens him with the bracelets throwing back his own power at him.

Holy shit, that version of his power absorption is basically unbeatable.

I just hope it's not an actual fight before the plot device though.
Originally posted by DarkSaint85If you scale Jane off Mangog, then Hulk is way worse. Only Aaron gives her those feats though surprisingly.
Tbf Mangog was more dangerous than Odin and the Phoenix Force. So Hulk is basically beyond abstract.
This story probably ends with Hulk kicking the shit out of the Black Order and the "Old" Grandmaster, so Carver can still grow in power from here
Originally posted by One Big MobOh, it will be some generic 'punches that draw blood' at the beginning [I won't be surprised if this will be the big splash first page for next issue, her punching him away] until he beats her down on the ground hard, gives a big villain talk "you didn't think you had a chance against me, did you?" while she stands there hopeless, and then she wraps him in the lasso and does the trick.

It's the nature of story telling, right? Lobo does crazy stuff, but in team books less so. Flash outruns Death, then fails in the JLA (unless you're Morrison writing both books). Jane fights the Phoenix, whilst in the Avengers fails to stop a meteor (I think it was even during the same month). Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is...well, unbeatable, but is written more 'normally' in US Avengers.

How powerful is Death Sentry?

Well yeah lol. For every action and all that....
It's how things are. Let's say there's a general level - 50 - for all team members to be useful.
Batman is a 5 in his book. Lobo is a 100.
In the JLA book? They'll be near 50 in power. Batman (or Black Canary or any other street) can hang with people like Lobo, who once pulled a star out of the sky.
Flash, who casually runs through time mid sentence and returns the second he left, is on the same team as Aquaman. Who is also on the same team as Superman and WW.
Which is why battle feats alone can't work. Cheese feats help too. Batman is never replicating Heaven's Ladder, or pulling the Earth/Moon. But he can spar with WW.
Originally posted by DarkSaint85True, but even Male Thor didn't have such a strong contrast between showings besides when Bendis was on deck. Real Jane Thor is portrayed as entirely average in every book but Aaron's. Even Blackheart beat her iirc.

With the current climate of SJWs, it's funny how Aaron took it above and beyond.

I don't want Carver's version though.

Now I’m really curious how immortal hulk and Sasquatch are going to partner and work together.
And I don't even mean Nightwing, I mean Stephanie, at best.

This has been hyped up too much for her not to do extraordinarily well. Even the solicit bring up Wonder Woman saying she can take on Darkseid in a 1v1 fight, and whether she can back that up.
They won't mess that up by having, I dunno, Jason helping her.
But imagine her winning against Darkseid straight up, only for Darkseid to go for the bi tch move and attack her brother...That would ruin him.
