FYI, that's not new. Odin mated with Gaea so his son could draw power from both the Earthly and Heavenly plane. It was all part of his plan. I dk why Thor's ridiculous potential makes Odin look bad. He also beat Shiva in single combat a few issues later and stalemated Zeus for months on Olympus in the annual. He stalemated and beat Gilgamesh who was amped many times (He stalemated Hercules at his base in the same arc) by the One-Above-All Celestial. He performed against the Fourth Host as good as Galactus would've tbh. If I made a respect for Thor purely on feats from that era....
And look at that, Grandmaster mentioned in the same breath as Galactus. Another aspect of his Skyfather level power. 🙂
